March 11-The Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows in Santa Monica was the center of all things lights, camera and action as celebrities, and patrons of film and television attended Cinemagic’s Los Angeles Showcase and sneak preview of the film Delicate Things.

Celebrity attendees of the event included: Nick Blood (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Damian McGinty (Glee), Dylan Snyder (Disney’s Kickin’ It), Ross King (UK TV Presenter), Andrew de Burgh (Youthful Daze), Damian O’Hare (Pirates of the Caribbean), Stephen Bradley (No Doubt), Tony Curran (Defiance) Tobin Bell (Saw) and Amy Willerton (Model)

A nonstop night of entertainment, guests enjoyed various performances from the Cinemagic kids whose achievements were celebrated. One of the most powerful highlights of the evening was the sneak preview of Delicate Things, the newest Cinemagic short, film supported by Creative Skillset, following a family in Northern Ireland dealing with the troubles and violence of the time. The message conveyed within the film is that Ireland’s newest generation has the ability to change the country for the better.

This year’s much anticipated Cinemagic LA Festival had the support of top industry professionals and film and television studios including HBO, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Aero Film, New York Film Academy, actress Paula Malcomson (Hunger Games, Deadwood, Ray Donovan) and TV Presenter Ross King (ITV Good Morning Britain, Lorraine). Each hosted events ranging from Q&A sessions, set and studio tours and workshops. Through Cinemagic masterclasses, film screenings, Q&As and workshops, young people got the unique opportunity to hear first-hand from those in the industry and gain an insight to the various roles and careers that exist.

Cinemagic is an award winning charity & film festival, that embraces the magic of film, television and digital technologies to educate, motivate and inspire young people through film screenings, industry workshops, practical master classes, filmmaking projects and outreach activities.
