Christian singer Lauren Daigle opened up Hillsong United’s “Empires” show at Inglewood’s Forum.

Daigle magnetized fans onto their feet as she set the worship atmosphere with her single titled, “First.”

Fans out cried emotions of joy and pain; sounds that echoed that of a child’s birth.

Daigle briefly stopped in the midst of her singing and stated, “I am praying for each one of you. I just know God is going to do something, really special. He is just going to come and bring his presence in such a refreshing way.”

Her songs—”Trust in You,”How Can It Be,” and “I am Yours” were emotionally raw.

Hillsong United’s Taya Smith took over the show from there.

Emerging onto the front of the stage, for her rendition of the group’s chart-topping song, “Oceans,” she expressed the lyrics.

“When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace, For I am Yours, You are mine.”

There was a call and response between Smith and the audience. The audience raised their arms and stood up out of their seats. They remained so for the rest of the night.
